Who we are

Visility is a UK company that specialises in one thing: AI visibility. We find out whether the AI assistants people turn to are recommending your business, and who they recommend instead.

What we do

Visility audits how visible UK businesses are to ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI. We put the questions people really ask to each assistant and count every answer. The report shows where a business stands, who is recommended in its place, and why.

We read the results through our own framework: held, winnable and lost. It shows at a glance which questions a business holds, which it could win, and which it’s losing to others.

Why only the UK

An audit has to be built for the place it measures, and the UK is different in ways that matter:

• The assistants answer by country. Google’s AI answers depend on where you search from, and the chat assistants pick up the country from the question. An audit built in the US measures what Americans see.
• People here ask differently. Solicitor, not attorney. Estate agent, not realtor. The words in a question decide who gets named, so the questions have to be written the way people in the UK ask them.
• The assistants read UK sources. These include UK review sites, directories and professional registers. Knowing which ones count here helps explain why a business is or isn’t recommended.
• UK places are easy to get wrong. There is more than one Richmond, Newport and Newcastle. Measuring the right town is part of measuring correctly.

How we work

• Measured, not estimated. Every figure is counted from real answers.
• Counted, never characterised. We report what the assistants said, not opinions about your competitors.
• No promised rankings. Nobody controls what these assistants say. We measure, explain and track. We don’t guess.
• Open to checking. Every question is printed in full, so you can check any of it yourself.

Independent

Visility is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI, Google or any other AI company. We measure their assistants from the outside, the same way the people asking them do.

We only measure. We don’t sell marketing, websites or SEO, so we gain nothing from the figures looking better or worse than they are.
